- PreAP Lunar Phases Project grading criteria: This project will count as much as a major test grade. You’ll be evaluated by your peers on a 1-5 scale in each of the following areas, so please make sure your project covers each of them:
- Clearly explains what each phase looks like from Earth
- Clearly explains the location of the Sun, Earth and Moon for each phase
- Clearly explains the direction of Rotation and Revolution for both the Earth and Moon
- Clearly explains the terms waxing and waning
- Rate the overall quality of the model, demonstration or video
- (Remember, you can earn extra credit for explaining both types of eclipses and/or both types of tides in your project)
- 1N Force and Motion (part A). Use the following links as you work through the assignment:
