- View 4th 6 Weeks Assignments Example Presentation
- View last assignment 4.12 example Best Images Presentation
- Do
- Begin working on the last assignment of the 4th 6 Weeks, which is 4.12: your Best Images presentation with your top 5 (or more) favorite images from your saved pictures folder (can be pictures, collages or artwork, like sumopaint or flamepainter). Make sure you drag your presentation into your 103 folder so I can view it!
- Number the assignments in your 103 folder to match the list in your class period edit file (just rename the files with the number in front of the name). For example, 4.1 is the 1st assignment of the 4th 6 weeks. Each assignment numbered correctly is worth 1 extra credit point toward your 4th 6 weeks grade!
- Complete and number assignments 4.1 through 4.12.

Tuesday 15th:
- Review
- Agendas out and copy yellow
- Logon to your Google Account using Firefox.
- Review list of missing assignments in the view folder for your class period (red bars across the list mean folder problems)
- How to make a Wordle (4.6 & 4.7)
Create the Wordles
- Copy some text (like from 308Today)
- Open the Wordle webpage
- Paste the text in the box and click go
- use randomize until you find a Wordle that you would like to keep
Capture the Wordles
- Use InterWrite (camera on toolbar) or OneNote (windows+S keys) to capture the Wordles
Save the Wordles to your desktop
- In InterWrite, choose file/export and then choose png, name it, and browse to desktop
- In OneNote, right click on the image, choose ‘save as’, name it and put it on your desktop
Upload your Wordles to your 103 folder
- Logon to your Google Docs in Firefox
- Choose ‘Upload’
- Drag files from your desktop into the dashed box or ‘select files to upload’, browse to your desktop and double-click on each of them
- Click on ‘Destination Collection’, choose 103 folder and the ‘OK’
- Click ‘Start upload’

Wednesday 16th:

- How to make a Travel Collages (4.8 & 4.9)
Browse the Travel Locations
- For your first collage (4.8 Travel), click on the World Landmarks link and browse the landmarks (like the Colosseum) in street view as well as the sites on the scroll menu at the top (like Hawaii Beaches) or the Ski Slopes and the Whistler Village Stroll
- For your 2nd collage (4.9 Landmarks), View this coordinates spreadsheet (or this G-Doc) and copy/paste coordinates into Google Maps
Capture the Images
- Use InterWrite (camera on toolbar) to capture and arrange the images
Save the Images to your desktop
