- The majority of you expressed that you would rather proceed on your own than have me stop the class to give you an overview (#4 in the red box above from your feedback form on Friday), so I’m willing to try that for a while to see how you do, but please pay close attention to the instructions and examples!
- Begin our 3.2 Week11 Portfolio in Google Classroom by following the directions below (a portfolio is a set of pieces of creative work collected by someone to display their skills)
- Slide2) Explore basic programming with this new Lightbot interface which has built-in tutorials and lets you drag-n-drop easily to replace or rearrange commands

- Open Link1 and move your cursor around to find the windiest point on the Windmap. Skitch it onto your warmup. It should look something like this
- Open Link2 and Skitch the US Map on top of the wind map. Then adjust the transparency so you can see the wind map underneath (crop the map if you need to).
- Add a label at the top with the name of the state and the wind speed

- Click on the Scratch link below (orange highlight) and either 1) sign-in to your old account 2) click the forgot password link if necessary or 3) click Join Scratch to create a new account if you’ve never had one.

- Run the program by clicking on the brown curved piece at the top (watch the video!)
- Change the glide speeds to 1
- Remove the bottom point and change the last point coordinates to (0,0) so Scratch draws a triangle
